Fabulous Finds: Morris Designs

I have an obsession with William Morris designs. I find the botanicals so completely captivating, probably because of the organic yet stylized designs. Imagine my excitement when I found this. And this.

Paper sources is carrying the Victoria and Albert Museum aluminum bottles and vacuum flasks, as well as garden tools in both patterns. I’m not sure I can really justify purchasing one of the bottles, since I have about eight bazillion other reusable containers, but it’s nice to know that such cute things exist!

  • I have a william morris fabric couch! yet another reason why we are friends ;)

  • I'm pretty sure I need one of those bottles.

  • Ugh… Don't do it…

I too love William Morris. But a water bottle? He makes a quarter turn in his grave every time someone purchases one.

Stick with the classic scarves and paper applications. If you have to, get the Met's umbrella & bag. But never (please!) a water bottle.

    Your snobby cousin!

  • have you seen sanderson in england? i think they bought the morris printing plates when morris' own company went out of business . . . they now produce morris textiles and wallpapers.
