A woman at a knitting group this weekend was knitting with something that I thought was SWTC Karaoke. It wasn’t. It seems that Patons is now making a yarn called Soy Wool Stripes, which is 70% wool and 30% soy. It feels lovely and costs about $3 less than Karaoke. I bought a couple of skeins at AC Moore when I was there checking out the 40% off rubber stamp sale. Interesting colors and it feels nice. We’ll see how it knits up.

Knitting group? over the weekend? are you cheating on us??

My friend Celeste knit an entrelac scarf out of SWS at it was BEAUTIFUL. I've stashed some myself – I like the colors.
