That Peaceful, Easy Feeling
In the wake of all of the wedding replanning, I’m being reminded, yet again, that there is a WIDE range of customer service. I had the good fortune to find a great florist for the wedding several months ago. We’re using The Flower Market in Alexandria, VA. Gwen, the owner, is proving to me once again that customer service *is* alive and well.
We’ve had to revamp our ceremony flowers and our reception flowers to accommodate the changes in venue. When I called to let Gwen know that we had to move everything, the first words out of her mouth were: “Don’t worry, we’ll do everything we can to make this as painless as possible.” She took the time to sit down with me yesterday to go over what we would need to change, and how we could make the changes with the least impact on our budget. She knows the venues well, and didn’t need me to describe either location before she was drawing diagrams on the back of a manilla folder.
I left Gwen’s office with the knowledge that my flowers were in good hands, and that my wedding is still going to be an amazing day. What a great feeling!
