My new favorite Trader Joe’s snack? Hummus with horseradish – garlicky, horseradishy, and well… darned good.
On a side note: The cashier who checked me out the day I bought my hummus with horseradish was completely grossed out, and proceeded to tell me how gross she thought it was. She doesn’t like horseradish, so the ick factor was very high for her, apparently. I thought it was rude of her to say anything at all, but apparently boundaries are lacking in the world these days.
I cannot begin to tell you how much I love hummus with horseradish….almost as much as I love hummus with chunky kalamata olives
Mmmm, kalamata olives. Mmmm, hummus. I'm with the cashier on the horseradish, I think, although not quite so violently.
Now I need to go to Trader Joe's
I think the level of "cool" of the Trader Joe's folks here in AZ has slipped exponentially.
