Pie Dam
It sounds like something dirty, but it’s really just a nifty gadget. Have I mentioned that I am a gadget junkie? I don’t make a lot of pies, but I’d almost make one just to try this out. I can’t imagine needing two of these any time except Thanksgiving, but they don’t sell them individually anymore, it seems.
King Arthur has lots of great items, including their signature flours that you can find in grocery stores. I use their flour all of the time (I buy it at Trader Joe’), and I’ve always been pleased with the results.

I thought about the pie dam as I cut into my blueberry pie this weekend. Would have been nice to have the gadget. Gadgetless, I just had to eat the whole pie to prevent the juices from running
