Tragedy
I feel more than a little bit sick when I think about what happened yesterday at Virginia Tech. I, however, am apparently doing much better than some, considering that I didn’t end up in the hospital with chest pains or other stress related symptoms.
E says that six people showed up in his ER yesterday with anxiety symptoms from watching the coverage of the event on TV. WTF?!

I feel so awful about it too. Absolute tragedy. Perhaps the media needs to look at the depth at which they cover such things. Newsworthiness is one thing, but it seems that coverage so detailed makes the most empathetic of people feel like they were there. Crazy…
