Happy Birthday to Me!
Another year older and wiser? I don’t know about that, but I’m definitely more tired. 
I don’t really have that much to say, so I’ll leave you with some interesting things that have happened on my birthday in years past:
1561 - Sir Francis Bacon, English philosopher was born (He died in 1626).
1949 - Steve Perry of “Oh Sherrie” fame is born.
1973 - The Supreme Court of the United States delivers its decision in Roe v. Wade striking down state laws restricting abortion during the first six months of pregnancy.
1984 - The Apple Macintosh, the first consumer computer to popularize the computer mouse and the graphical user interface, is introduced during Super Bowl XVIII with its famous “1984″ television commercial.
1997 - Madeleine Albright becomes the first female secretary of state after confirmation by the United States Senate.
I had a wonderful dinner with E and my mom this weekend to celebrate the day, and I’m going to have a really bad-for-me-good-for-my-psyche dessert tonight. Yeeha!
