Life…

Posted in Uncategorized at 9:12 pm by trueepicure

Some days, I can’t believe how crazy things have been lately. My trip to Columbus was 3 weeks ago! That was craziness in and of itself, because I had to give a presentation. I was able to get a bit of walking in, and some gorgeous pictures of croci that I shared in my last post. I miss cities where walking is easy, and it isn’t 500,000,000 degrees outdoors in April.

I’ve spend the better part of 6 months procrastinating about writing a history of my dad’s life for the memorial dedication at his high school library this week. I’m not sure if I was procrastinating because this is what I always do with a writing assignment, or if it was because I’m still greiving my dad’s death, and I just don’t know it. Probably a bit of both. I finally finished the bio last week, and it turned out really nicely.

I’m going to visit with a teacher of mine from grade school this week. He started as a new teacher of my 6th grade science class, and is now the director of the school. We’ve both come a long way in the last twenty-something years. Kind of strange to think back to those days… I’m really looking forward to the meeting — PK was one of my favorite teachers.

I’m rambling, and I think I need to head off to bed. I just thought I’d post a bit about what’s been going on, for those of you who are interested. My email is hosed by the way, so if you want to reach me, try me at trueepicure [at] gmail [dot] com, until further notice. You know what to replace.

Some flower eye candy for you to enjoy:

    Eva,
I can’t imagine how hard that would be to write. You are in my thoughts.
(And that flower, as usual, is incredible!)
    Hope to see you tonight,
    Kelli

Gorgeous flowers! I am so sorry about your dad. I lost mine three years ago and it is so very very very tough to deal with……
