Holy bulbs, Batman! That’s a real looker you’ve got there! I LOVE irises; and not just because they’re eye-parts as well as fleurs.

Gotcherself one fine photog-guy there, too! Well done!

My girl is playing softball on Tuesday nights now, so I may not make Coffee Rush for a while– *waah!* Hope to see you at another night, somewhere….

Does your pretty Iris smell like root beer? We used to have thousands of iris plants….and they are so elegant. My favorite became the one that bloomed in the spring and again in the fall….and was the very palest shade of blue. White, so white that it was blue, like a linen handkerchief on the clothesline, bleached by the sun. I miss my garden….thanks so much for sharing yours.
I am so happy that we shared our plants before we moved, and that so many of our loved ones in Indy have pieces of our “old” life, alive and blooming year after year. Gardens are a silent scrapbook of a good life.
