Ruht-ro(gue)!
The good news: Thanks to the genius women that I knit with, I was able to figure out that I had knit row 14 of the side panel twice. Thank you Illanna and Heather! You guys are the best.
The bad news: I think I might be allergic to the wool I’m using (Bartlet Yarns Glenn Tweeds in Granite). I LOVE the yarn, it is grey with pink flecks, and is just right - except for the fact that the pads of my thumb and forefinger got all dried out, scratchy, and gross. And when I was off knitting the pattern for several days because of 3-Day Walk training and my frustration at the offending row number 14, my fingers got better. And after knitting on it again today, my fingers feel weird again. Shit!
Any one want to buy 7 skeins of beautiful wool yarn?

Eva swears? I don’t believe it!!
If you can’t find a taker for the yarn (though I’m sure you will), I’ll buy it off you (although I’d have to put it through the skin rub test first).

Oh no!! Could it maybe be something else? (eternal optimist here, you know) I would think it would effect all your hand, huh?

What color is that lovely yarn?
I’ll miss you ladies tonight. I’ve got a dinner date. Next week!

if it is still sitting there looking for a new home, I will adopt it of course (all expenses paid of course) I LOVE that grey with pink fleck look - I have actually obsessed over that very yarn!
Before that though, are you SURE it isnt just that it is a tad scratchy? Maybe it will get better once you give it a bath?
Thinking about you and that walk!! Looking fwd to hearing how it was =)
