Supreme Court
I’m trying to understand how it is that someone with no judicial experience can be a Supreme Court justice. Renquist was also appointed with no experienc on the bench (also appointed by a Republican), but somehow this latest situation has me worried. I think part of it is that I am worried that no one is going to question it because she is a woman, and there is such a focus on getting another woman on the Court.
Aside from all of that, I have always been concerned by how a Supreme Court Justice is nominated by the President, and is obviously chosen because of his or her conservative or liberal tendencies in passing judgement. I don’t know that there is a better way, but the whole thing makes me question the supposed balance between the branches of government.

Me too! I am a bit worried but you haven’t seen a lot of flap going around because of the gender thing…..I am worried it is another conservative for the court!!!

I’ve got to be honest with you… if I knew no experience was required… I would have put my name in for the job!!!
