San Marcos Hibiscus

The first bloom on my San Marcos Hibiscus. It’s about two years old, and is a slow (but steady) grower:

Gossypium harknessii (San Marcos Hibiscus)

    Bravo! what a beautiful bloom.
Can you tell me how “steady” is it at growing? Are you able to keep it at about 3-4ft or is it really invasive?
I want to buy a plant but would not want it to take over my yard.

    Thanks

It is not invasive at all, but I didn’t water it much - twice a month once it was established. It’s a great plant, and I miss it a lot now that I’ve moved.
